About Boardflare
Boardflare builds tools for people whose spreadsheet work has reached the point where part of the problem belongs in Python, while Excel still needs to remain part of the workflow.
Our flagship product, Python for Excel, adds a reactive Python notebook to the workbook. The notebook can read live Excel data, keep substantial transformations and models in one coherent programming surface, publish selected values and reusable functions back to the worksheet, and optionally reopen the same notebook in App mode when it becomes a repeatable interactive tool.
Our broader thesis is that analytical logic should be easier to inspect, explain, reuse, and maintain without forcing organizations to abandon the spreadsheet interface their teams already understand.
Boardflare also maintains focused Excel utilities for statistics, optimization, local text analysis, translation, fuzzy matching, and related tasks. These products support specific spreadsheet workflows and inform the development of the flagship Python product.
